On this cycling Tour we make Glacier National Park our Basecamp. We stay at two incredible lodges within the park, Many Glacier Lodge and Prince of Wales.
From our Basecamp we bike in two countries, two National Parks and the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road from the east and west! Located adjoining one another along the internatonal boundary, we'll ride from Glacier National Park in Montana, across the border into Alberta Canada, and then into Waterton Lakes National Park - and back.
Starting on the east side of Glacier, this bike tour rides across the park via the Going to the Sun Road, one of the all-time classic cycling routes. We'll visit Jackson Glacier at Logan Pass on the Continental Divide before desending to Lake Mcdonald. We also ride to Many Glacier before crossing into Alberta Canada on our way to Waterton lakes and a two night stay. After riding the backroads of Waterton and a leisurely day on the lake, we head back to Glacier.
We'll also have time for a boat ride and a few short must do hikes, including walking on a glacier. Is there any other way to see Glacier National Park?
